Gibson's death has made me even more focused on Cody and the love I have for him. And, truly have been asking Gibson to choose our next dog! Thank you for sharing the journey with us. Okay. I made it. I finally stopped in to read this. I’ve had it bookmarked for over a month…I kept telling myself that when I’m ready, I’ll read it. It still tore my heart out. I’m so, so sorry for your loss of your beloved Gibson. But I’m sure you are just like me: if you had to do it all over again, knowing the pain you will suffer with your grief, you would without a moment’s hesitation. To know that we are capable of such love is what makes it worth loving in the first place. 🙂 Gibson is picking out your next dog as we speak…he’ll send you exactly who you need. 🙂

In reply to mary gillespie. Oh Mary, I'm so sorry to hear about Winston. Losing Gibson so unexpectedly has been terribly difficult for us. It's never easy when we lose a beloved dog. They're never with us long enough. Please let your sister know we're thinking of her and keeping her in our thoughts a prayers. I'll check into someone I might be able to recommend in Augusta and will email you.

I am sorry see that Gibson passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My sister, mother and I met you in the waiting room at UGA. My sister was there with her Westie, Winston, who was put to sleep the evening we were there. We had my mother’s puppy, Cooper, with us ( doxie-scottie mix). You gave us your card about your training services. I would like to give my mother training lessons for Cooper for Christmas. She is almost 90 and I know this would be great for her and Cooper. Do you know of someone in Augusta, Ga. that is a good trainer? Wish she lived closer to Murphy, N.C. Thanks so much! Mary Gillespie

I’m so sorry for your loss. I went through the same thing last fall. We are all still missing ours after a year has passes but it’s easier now. Time and new routines will help.
