Lodging Options for Cold Nose College Workshops

One of the great things about living and offering dog  training workshops in gorgeous, rural North Carolina is the variety of fantastic lodging options for those who travel from afar to attend any of the weekend workshops we offer:  Rocket Recall, Fabulous Focus, and The Shape of Things to Come.

We’re thrilled that we now have some new dog-friendly workshop space at The Hinton Center which has both lovely indoor training space, as well as nice outdoor space. The Hinton Center also has pet-friendly lodging options.

This facility is located on Lake Chatuge, so there may be the possibility of one day holding a What’s SUP Pup? Standup Paddle Board workshop.

While there aren’t any pet-friendly hotels nearby, there ARE plenty of pet-friendly vacation cabins which are usually priced lower than many hotels and give you the option of tons more room and a kitchen too.

Take a peek at the options below and select the one that best suits the needs of you and your dog:

The Hinton Center
The Retreat at Hiawassee River
Country Time Cabins
Creekfront Rentals
KLH Cabin Rentals
Laurel Mountain Cabins
Majestic Mountain Getaways

Grab your dog, head for the mountains and join us for a weekend of fun learning. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay in the mountains as much as we love living here!
