Thank you Lisa, for writing this wonderful book! It is not only easy to read, but the recall training is well described and supported by visuals. You simply cannot go wrong if you follow these clear trainings tips. And the result is great! My dog is only off-leash in fenced in areas and in my larger garden, but she comes every time I call her, even when there is distraction (other dogs or people on the street) right in front of her eyes. Even though her little terrier mind is alert and she has a distinctive hunting gene, she does not falter when being recalled. A great method, using positive reinforcement: fantastic and fun for the dog as well as a great experience for the guardian. Way to go!!
